1.Responsible for managing engineering activities: Investment Projects, Preventive Maintenance, Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Modifications, Automation and Improvement Projects 

2.Support general maintenance activities and work directly with E&M Manager to evaluate and 

troubleshoot processes and equipment as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations. 

3.Lead capital projects with design and project planning, safety, vendor interactions,maintenance, and engineering to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained and related objectives and KPI’s are met. 

4.Work out a long-term refurbishment plan for Omuta site for all facilities incl. pipe and 

instrument installations to guarantee production efficiency, extension potentials and safe 

operation regarding process safety and environmental protection avoiding mid- or long-term 

plant shut-downs

5.Capex preparation and execution 

6.Maintenance planning and execution 

7.Troubleshooting at the unplanned shutdowns and implement countermeasures. 

8.Legal Inspection of technical facilities 

9.Update P&ID, Process and Safety Interlocking Overviews, Layout Plans etc.

10.Maintaining of critical spare parts and stand-by systems 

11.Participating HAZOP Studies

12.Supervise contractors for maintenance and installation services 





1.Technical junior college or technical high school, Process or Chemical Engineering

2.10 years’ experience in maintenance of installations at chemical plants

3.Knowledge about DCS and PLC; preferred Honeywell Systems

4.AutoCAD for P&ID update 

5.Knowledge about legal requirements for pressure vessels Class I + II

6.English (TOEIC 600 above or equivalent) Japanese N2

7.Experience in design of chemical process plants
